Not only must-see monuments such as the Alcázar, the Cathedral or the Torre del Oro, but also other historic buildings such as palaces.

Here we suggest some of the palaces in downtown Sevilla which can be visited on foot from our hotel in the center of Seville.

    Casa de Pilatos

The Casa de Pilatos is one of the best and most outstanding examples of domestic architecture Sevillana sixteenth century as well as a reference in Andalusia. It is located in the square of the same name and was built in the fifteenth century.

The main courtyard is of the sixteenth century, although the Moorish decor includes glimpses of medieval, Gothic (in the balustrade of the upper gallery), Muslim (in plaster, tiles and uneven distribution of the arc) and Renaissance (source and columns).

The Casa Palacio de los Pinelo is a Renaissance building that is also located in the historic Seville, considered of cultural interest and historical heritage of Spain. This building is of medieval origin and was later enriched with different Renaissance elements. Its origin is linked to the launch of the Academy of painting created by Bartolome Esteban Murillo.

This monument is located at the street Abbots number 13, near the Cathedral and the Casa Pilatos, so it is perfect for inclusion in this little path to experience another facet of Seville.
